A charming little place in a stunning location. Absolutely nothing to complain about here, everything was absolutely perfect. Not! The worn-out carpets and shabby paintwork added a delightful touch of character, and the freezing cold house on arrival gave me a warm welcome. Brilliant!

As a light sleeper, I appreciated the quiet location and comfortable beds. The powerful shower was also a great perk.
Felt very well taken care of, with nothing being too much trouble.

We definitely got great value for our money at Melville House. The room was comfy with a powerful shower, and the location was perfect with nearby restaurants. The staff was incredibly welcoming and took the time to show us around the property.
Breakfast choices could have been better, but that's a minor thing compared to the overall positive experience.

We spent a great day cycling through picturesque landscapes and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were helpful and provided us with everything we needed for a memorable family adventure.
My children wanted a playground or outdoor play area to keep them entertained.

The bedrooms at Melville House were absolutely wonderful! The double bed was so cozy, and the en-suite bathroom had all the toiletries I needed. It felt like a home away from home!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shower/tub combination in the bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference and I'm sure others might still find it enjoyable.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful, taking the time to show us around and explain all the facilities. the location of the hotel was also very convenient, being centrally located and close to the restaurants and amenities we wanted to visit. the well-staffed bar was an added bonus, with friendly personnel ready to serve drinks and make recommendations.
The property itself had some drawbacks. It seemed a bit worn and could use some maintenance, with stained carpets and marked paintwork.
